Vegan French Toast Sticks
Now these are my new favorite. Finger linking good. No pun-intended.
Here is a fun twist to making French toast for
breakfast | Brunch | On-the Go.
Here is what you will need:
1 tbsp Vegan Butter
In a bowl mix 1/2 cup Just egg, 1 tbsp cinnamon, and 1/2 tbsp vanilla extract.
(can double mixture if need more)
2 tbsp of cane sugar, 1 tbsp of cinnamon
- In a cast iron pan or non stick pan over medium heat Melt 1 tbsp of butter in pan.
- Vertically Cut sourdough bread into 1/2 inch sticks.
- Dip bread in Just Egg mixture than dip in Sugar Mixture than fry in pan until golden, evenly cooking both sides.
- Repeat directions 3 until all sticks are done, let sticks cool, serve with agave or maple syrup and dust with Powered Sugar for a extra touch.
